On the day of the Big Cleanup Riga|2014 made a 54 m2 big map from thousands of PET bottle tops. The countries participating in the Big Cleanup are marked red. Dozens of volunteers helped us sort the bottle tops by colors and glue them to the big map.

As a part of the Big Cleanup that takes place in Latvia on April 21st, there is also the project „Courtyard movement” where suburb’s courtyards will be cleaned and landscaped. This year, Riga|2014 takes part in the project at on of the Moscow Suburb’s yard (address: http://g.co/maps/q5ef2). Take a look and think about your courtyard, too!
